china cabinet before & after

You may recall this post when we picked up the new china cabinet pictured below.

This was the cabinet BEFORE.

And this is the AFTER:

Much better.

I'm enjoying all of the white.

And still playing around with the positioning of everything on the cabinet, but it's always so much fun to have a new piece to play with.

So I know that it seems soon, but I've already toyed with the idea of selling it and finding a new piece to paint. I do like the turnout. I just want to paint and all the excitement of finding a new piece. We'll see what Drew says.

I could paint all day.

  7. that is just gorgeous!

I love painting furniture too, in fact I have turned it into my work-from-home business. Have been officially in business for around 16 months now, and I still love it just as much as ever :)

I could paint all day too...and often do! This message is typed with paint-covered hands, lol!

  14. This is beautiful, yes, great job, but I think I wld have had it appraised before I took paint to it. It looks like an antique and may have been worth a good penny. Love the little individual spice drawers (thats what they are I think)
Never the less ... its a striking piece with what you've done. I dont think I cld sell it if it were mine.
