our bedroom / home office

It's been a while since I've taken pictures of the many changes our bedroom has made, (AND since it's been clean enough to deserve a photo shoot). Most significant change is the addition of the office area. Our office was previously in the basement and since it's move to our room on the main floor, it has seen a lot more use.
See the before of our bedroom here.

  1. I love your dresser! It is always better to put things where you'll use them the most!

  3. nothing like a huge drab black desk and cd spindles to make your room seem "cozy"....why not get a piece of furniture that has a pull out desk (or install one) and put a chair next to it when closed. When in use you just grab the chair and sit at the desk.

  4. Sarah, I'm so glad you posted this! I think you have one of the most beautiful homes and feel lucky to have watched it evolve and change over the past four years. I love all the changes you made and having seen the desk in person it seemed like a really nice quality piece and with your growing family I understand why you put it where you did. Great job on using what you have to make a gorgeous and functional space! Please keep posting...I can never get enough of your amazing style. :-)
